Welcome to the Oklahoma Women Veterans Organization! We are dedicated to providing resources and support to the brave women who have served our country. Our mission is to empower women veterans to thrive in their post-military lives through education, advocacy, and community.

About Us

The Oklahoma Women Veterans Organization (OKWVO) is a 501 (c) (19) non-profit War Veterans Service Organization.

The Oklahoma Women Veterans Organization was founded in 1986 in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and is the Headquarters of OKWVO. Two Chapters were formed later, one in the Tulsa area in 2012 and one in the Lawton/Fort Sill area in 2016. For more information on the Chapters, please check the Chapters tab.  

As a woman veteran in Oklahoma, you may face unique challenges when it comes to accessing resources and services. That’s why we’re here to help.

We offer opportunities to connect with other women veterans in the state through our events and community outreach programs. Whether you’re looking for mentorship, networking opportunities, or just a sense of camaraderie, we’re here to support you.(
